The Shores of Alone

0 posted 2000-10-30 12:25 PM

Over these months, I've shared it all
the good times and the bad.
You've always sent a smile or two
and hugs I've never had.

I cannot claim such talents, vast
as that which I've found here.
My writing falls from heart to pen,
emotions I hold dear.

Yet I can always count on you
to send supportive notes.
I've pushed myself to greater writes
with help of these kind votes.

But most importantly of all
I felt I had some friends.
Amidst this dark and lonely time,
you pulled me through sad ends.

So thank you each and every one
who reached and took my hand,
who answered even one sad poem
and gave me strength to stand.

Your poetry continues to grow with each
heart felt piece...and you make the reader
feel your pain..that is why you've felt so
many reach out to you...so you ARE a fine
poet...and you have truly seen the beauty of
Passions through the support of friends~

I think Sven said it the best.... this is what poetry is all about, a community of poets, so glad and honoured to part of this community of fine poets like you Sandra.

I came aboard in the midst of your sadness and have grown to care about your happiness.  I look for your name when I sign on and have been so glad to see you overcoming the pain and moving on.  And your writing falling from heart to pen is what makes it so lovely.

You know what ?
When we have need ... you'll do the same.
Our circle of friendship is awesome, huh ?

Sandra.....
You have so many friends here, including me, who love your work....you really don't need to thank us, we need to thank you for all the beauty you've shared!
