As much as I would like to stay
I have to go to bed,
its time to put away the pen
and say goodnight instead,

Before I do, I want to say
thank you all tonight,
for posting all your poetry
it made my day so bright!

I love the way you share your joy
and grief or thoughts and fears,
it brings me smiles and laughter,
and sometimes brings me tears.

And though I haven’t been here long
I feel I have to say,
you make me feel at home here
in a very special way.

Thank you all for being the special people that you are!

Wonderful Debbie...I agree..this is the best place to spend an evening. Go to bed with poetry dancing in your head. We're glad you found us here....

such a sweet lullaby to dream by...thank you.
My problem is I can't sleep with poetry running through my head.  maybe I try rhyming sheep...

one little sheep,
jummped the fence saying nighty-nite...
oh well, thank you again, sweet dreams.

Beautiful Debbie, I agree with every word. If not for this place, I would be in some very unapealing bar, drinking myself silly.. LOL Well maybe not, but something equally depressing.
