If Love shalt blossom in the spring like the pink petals of a dogwood tree soaring like a doves feathered wing soaring earths canvas to be free If Love shalt kiss the night with passion like the whisper of summers breeze love may be cold without compassion a turbulent ride upon the seven seas If Love shalt warm thee in mid of winter whilst flames dance in the firelight warming thee like sip of liqueur as you dream in breath of the night If Love is swept with autumn leaves it may burn thee like embers of blush a memory a butterfly doth weave painting the sky with wingspan brush If my love survives within thine heart thence thy love for me shalt never part < !signature--> A poem is never finished, only abandoned. - Paul Valery (1871-1945) [This message has been edited by Victoria (edited 10-27-2000).] |

When you write for the man you love you leave no doubt of the depth and sincerity of it. Lovely write and so refreshing to see happiness abounding. |

Victoria~ 'If Love is swept with autumn leaves it may burn thee like embers of blush a memory a butterfly doth weave painting the sky with wingspan brush If my love survives within thine heart thence thy love for me shalt never part' To find a heart within which to plant these thoughts, Ahhhhhhh ... the essence of loving would be complete. Just lovely, lady. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

you paint a picture of love so brilliantly with those delicate butterfly wings, colorful strokes of words that would leave Monet breathless. |
