UNDEFEATED PAST It truly bothers me to know, that sometimes he is sad. I hate it even worse, when he say's that he is bad. He has a lot of memories, he just can't leave behind. Though he tries to hide it, I know it's on his mind. Silently he suffers, from mistakes made in his past. He had a role to play. His mark he had to cast. His memories of another time, with him still remain. He couldn't fight his destiny, couldn't control the game. Some things are intended, and regardless they will be. He cannot change his past, and from it can't break free. He has a restless spirit, a dark void in his soul. It makes him seem distant, uncaring, and so cold. But I have seen the other man,that lurks deep within. No finer man, have I known, and I've learned to love him. The shadow in his eyes, should be filled light. I wish that I could hold him, and make his world right. The echoes of his tragic past, seem to have no end. But I will always be here, if only as a friend. I am unconditional! My love will always last. Each night I pray, he'll comes to terms, with his UNDEFEATED PAST! If you can't make it so, you need to let it go! |

you must be a very special friend to feel this way for someone, and he must be special to you, obviously. In time all will heal. And then he'll see his future in you. |

Kitty, I am going through the same thing with my boyfriend and I know how it is. He is a really wonderful guy who's had some really bad things happen to him, things he couldn't do anything about. I can only imagine how much those things hurt him and I hope one day he will break away from him. You're right, we probably are what's best for them. Someday they will realize it. Wonderful work. Hey, there are two of us in the boat now..;-) But you know Elizabeth, all we can do is stand by until they work it out. As much as we would like to take away their pain, we can't. Ladies having someone at your side no matter how bad things seem always lends itself to knowing we don't stand alone. Always nice to have a shoulder to lay your head and your heart on. Keep up the support They sound very lucky to have it. Rich Also nicely Done Kitty! |
