They held a convention last Saturday night, No doubt, they were charming and just as polite. Far-fetched patronizing, proper sweet phrases, Lots of doting and saccharin praises. It's easy to find them in any old town, They say what you want to hear when you're down... "You're fabulous darling, you're second to none, Simply sensational, by far number one!" At the mutual admiration society There is lots of ego boosting piety Self-absorbed folks of every variety High on compliment, to avoid anxiety At the mutual admiration society |

Hey, this was no reflection on Passions, I have lots of admiration for many of you myself, & when it is sincere it is of course WELCOME! This was my muses reaction upon attending a very stuck-up poetry group here in my home-town this passed August! Special thanks to Kit, Jenn & Peppermint. TY for the replies! |
