My Song (Trying Sunshines Challange) There is no single song So many I'd need to fit all of me Chains the first I'd choose But I've found the key So Freedom follows as I burst free Searchin next as I begin to leave But Back Home is where I'd be On Silent Wings my soul would fly A Touch Of Heaven is what I see So my song would be A celebration of all of me I may Miss You Nights But I'll Stay away to be free Now And Forever is a long time And Always I'll forever be Lost Without You and your love But Time After Time it's me Who's said How Do I Live Marsha |

Don't know how I missed this one but I am so glad that I found it. Lovely response to the challenge and I would say you have a winner in it completely undisputed. |

Marsha, I'd say you hit the nail on the head... my challenge was to have people open up on what music does to them...what songs have touched their lives... the way they got to express it was their own challenge... Karilea When you want to be loved, look within...KRJ |

Marsha... this 'song' escaped me the first time around, so I'm glad Mark brought it back to read. It's great, as all your works are, and I enjoyed the way the titles fit so well into your thoughts!! I wonder if the challenge is still on? Then again, as a singer, I'd have a hard time choosing!! Ha!! Great writing, my friend!! |

Sunny why thank you, as I said the challange was fun but did I have to rack my feeble brain for this. Now you would be able to do it with one hand tied behind your back, and still create a stunner. Anyway I'm glad you stopped by because I always enjoy hearing from you Take care Marsha |

Marsha, I'm glad I found this before it disappeared. I think the challenge was well met in your poem, very well met indeed. Kethry "It is the image in the mind that links us to lost treasures; but it is the loss that shapes the image, gathers the flowers weaves the garland."- |

Kethry, now isn't that just like you, you say such nice things and I don't deserve them I really don't. But I thank you for making me think that I'm getting somewhere. I always appreciate your comments and the fact that you've taken the time to read my poem. So thank you loads Marsha |

Wonderful response to the challenge Marsha! You've not only met, but exceeded it. It's not easy to incorporate all of these songs as beautifully as you have done ... very lovely! Best wishes, /Kit |

Marsha - great poem. I think you approach lul Krailea's challenge from a unique viewpoint - good for you. I would love to take on this challenge, but I haven't had much success finding any songs about walking a plank and kitty cats - lol. |

Kit you are far to kind, I'm glad you liked it. I thank you for stopping by to read this. It was great fun, but I can't see me doing too many of these challanges. Yes Kit it is because they're hard, my brain isn't used to working you know. Anyway thanks, for your kind words, I cherish each reply because I know I don't deserve them. Your work is beautiful by the way. Take care Marsha |
