How do I miss you, let me count the ways
I miss you for your smiling face that brightens up my days
I miss you for the sunshine, which you gladly spread around
I miss you for your humor with which your poems all abound
I miss your strong compassion, and your friendship deep
I miss the way you touch my heart before I go to sleep
I miss the rhymes that move me, when loving  you will show
I miss the times you soothe me, with encouragement that makes me glow
I miss your open spirit, and that way your poems keep stickin'
But most of all I miss……. I miss your kitty kickin'

Come back soon

Keth

You miss him huh?  LOL...so do I when he's gone to class all day. (that interrupts to NOT HAVING TIME TO WRITE or do Passions..he in in classes and has homework..LOL..he will return after 4 Nov when we return to Maryland and a normal life again)
We are just pretty much on the go when he is home, between the books and having a little fun.

Good rewrite of a old poem...

Dee,thanks

Lorelei54, The email's on the way.

Marsha, thanks for the words of encouragement and the request to stay here.

'Deer, I was hoping he would prepare a slow cooked "Great American Kethry Roast". Thanks

Aimster,
Thanks. I wasn't going to say anything but then I got to thinking (I think too much) and before you know it the poem was written so I thought I may as well post it. I was hoping since I posted in the early hours of the morning it might slip by without anyone seeing it, then I could salve my conscience without being too blatant.

Be well
Kethry

This piece is written and expressed very well, Kethry...I'm not familiar with John but, from the sounds of it, it seems as if he was a great poet/person. Take care!

Nate,
John is a great person, he's just being mean and withdrawing his presence from us for awhile.

Charisma,
there's no coincidence here except that I posted both on the same day. I had already posted Yearning when I wrote this and they were not connected except by my manic mind.

Be well
Kethry.
