Breaking free from the chains that bind,
the tortured soul within her mind.
No longer can she look into her past,
even when the pain doth everlast.
She must move on into the future,
and break the chains that try to contain her.
She knows not how, she just knows why,
she knows somehow she's got to try.
She hopes for tommorrow  to bring a better day,
and asks God to help her  along her way.
She must now take a different path
and try not to live in the aftermath
of a life that has often  made her cry,
she must now take wings and learn how to fly.
Down a different road her feet must take,
a new days journey she now must make.
It's time to break  the chains that bind
the tortured soul  within her mind.

On the wings of words our spirits fly, and our souls are free.

It's time to break the chains that bind
the tortured soul within her mind.
I like this. It has an element of strong hope in it.
Be well

The time has come my friend. . . walk on. . . leave the chains. . .
