The Tie

The shirt is coarse
The collar chafes
The knot of the tie
Too tight.
My breath constricts
Except at night
When the day
Has lost its vie.
I would shed
The shirt
And collars chafe
But I cannot shed
The tie.

Seymour~
Those things that bind us
serve to remind us ...
I cannot shed the tie

Amazing thoughts here, my friend.
Loving you this morning~

Sy, I am at the point in my life where I try not to let anything tie me down, bind me. It is not worth the headache.

Wow Sy...

I think we can all go through any number of external outfits...

but it's always there isn't it? What you know...how you lived, how you were taught, what you absorbed.

Awesome read.
