Somewhere... out there...

0 posted 2000-10-20 10:12 PM

an empty soul-
a lonely cry
begging to be heard

a hand of love
reaching out
in the darkness

a touch...
two hearts unite as one

a moonlit night...
a woman-
a man

a star...
a dream come true

A woman
A man
A star
A dream

One glance
One touch
One moment
One kiss

A woman
A man
A moment
A love

binds that
bring forth
beckon for
breath of love

love sought
love found

one woman
one man
one day
one love

so beautiful and makes you dream about how so often we need that touch of the hand reaching out and showing us how much we care.

this should be in Webster's under the definition of a poet.

okay I admit it...your words inspired me so how about a duet together?  You up to it?  If so just email with either a yes or the first verse.     Thank you in advance for any consideration to my request.

Vicky,

This was fabulous.  So sweet and tender I could almost see them in front of me.  Wonderful writing my friend.  Hang in there . . . dreams really do come true . . . you just have to believe.

So simple and yet full of expression. A very touching piece, vlraynes, and a lovely unfolding theme.

Vicky, at times simplicity says it best...the brevity of this piece in no way reflects the measure of its magic!

An empty soul longing to be heard..
the Lord hears these tender pleas. No earthly place, no earthly one, can take the place of his great love.

Am I glad I went back to read this poem.  If not, it would have been a big loss in my part.  How someone can come up with such sweet words amazes me.  Thanks for sharing
