Something, aptly, "beautiful" silver lace, stars of glitter... scent of oil, egyptian musk-- and incense, acrid, sweet, but bitter... the touch of satin lips meet mine... intensity of eye, entwined. Feed the hunger, never filled-- decant, from chalice, slippery, chilled... Too late, I feel the glass stem break. Too late. I've shattered. I'm opaque. I have no instinct for the kill--- I loved you then, I love you still. Too late, too late... I hug my knees, rock to cadence-- no relief... I'll sleep until my last dream's done... to wake to drink the lust of sun. A proper prayer, upon my knees... to think that you might just like me... and show me,trust me, one page more... a sky of blue-- the sea of green horizon, distant, near the shore... |

Tomorrow's chapter of new to bring the wonders ... the smiles... the tender moments time of waltz. Dance to new songs as you reel taken by enchanted sirens of love resting on shoulders of guilted pain once on the right now residing on the left chanting the horrors of yesterday's pain. Wonderful write my friend....sort of low on angel dust but you shall be gifted with or without it. Lovely write |

serenity, What a marvellous poem, you sent my spine shivering. Remarkable. "I have no instinct for the kill--- I loved you then, I love you still". Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love (Daniel J D) |

"I hug my knees, rock to cadence-- no relief..." I think all of us have done this at one time or another, I loved these lines. "When red-haired girls scamper like roses over the rain-green grass, and the sun drips honey."" Laurie Lee Kathleen |
