Please sing to me again of rolling hills, Kentucky fences far as eye can see, Secluded woodland trails; those tales instill Within my soul poetic rhapsody. Please grace me one more time with tenderness Poured out upon the page from grandma’s heart The pride, the joy, unending happiness, The inspiration little ones impart. Please sing again of unrequited love Unanswered questions’ heartache hid within, Of treasured attic moments, mourning dove And of exotic places you have been.
