Laura Amy M. Kennedy sun rises as a new day begins Rays of golden sunlight stream through From slumber I awake and dreams end And thoughts drift softly to you ~~~~~***~~~~~ eyes of emerald captured my heart a love created under a turquoise sky think i loved you from the start tears of joy and sadness I now cry ~~~~~***~~~~~ you are like a blue sky to a gray day and some things just are meant to be our love is like a new try to an old way as i wipe my tears-- i begin to see ~~~~~***~~~~~ as the day passes things become more clear and my heart starts to see a burning light my soul no longer burned as much as it takes off in amazing flight ~~~~~***~~~~~ crimson red sunset lies low in the west as horizon from sky meets the sea And now I look up at the moon--a half formed crest As I wait in anticipation endlessly ~~~~~***~~~~~ justice still hangs in the balance today As the darkness comes and the stars appear But still the light burns within--a single ray And for a single moment in time--i feel you near "The head learns knew things, but the heart forever more practices old experiences" |

This piece is excellent and very well written Aimster...your use of words and the visions you've created was very graceful. Nathan |
