The Perfect World? So perfect without people Because we often fail to see All beauty that surrounds us God made it with care And loving fuss Just take another look This time open your eyes Move for a minute outside your own world and sense The sights The smells The cries Stop and think how it all could really be Enjoy that thought a while Don’t lose Gods gift to be kind and peaceful Or show a caring smile Try hard next time to see The perfect world God made Take in every detail. How complex Yet so simple Every foundation of nature Perfectly laid |

I totally agree! In the rush of life we often miss the beauty that surrounds us. I hope you'll visit us in the Spiritual forum sometime! <*\\\>< I know not what the future holds, but I know Who holds the future. |

PeterPeter - welcome, welcome to Passions...you would be treasured in Spiritual Journeys so, like Whtdove, I encourage your visits there, as well as all other arenas of Passions...seems like you'll have lots to share with us all... well done... Karilea When you want to be loved, look within...KRJ |

PeterPeter, welcome to passions, what an uplifting, nifty, ditty you created. Well done. However it's a bit worrying that you write the world would be perfect without people. Be well Kethry "It is the image in the mind that links us to lost treasures; but it is the loss that shapes the image, gathers the flowers weaves the garland."- |

Dear Kethry, Thanks for picking up on that point, that is the point of the poem, after all, the world is perfect, it's only the people that spoil it sometimes. Thanks again Peter [This message has been edited by PeterPeter (edited 09-24-2000).] |
