I'll never write another poem that's a promise I make tonight Please do not try and argue with me 'cause I feel it is what's right! Not a single word that's in my mind will reach my hand again. I shall not write what's in my heart of life, love, death, nor sin! I shall not write to vent my hurt or frustrations of the day. No more poems of things I've learned or poems just to say HEY! I locked my heart behind a wall and threw away my pen. The inspiration need not come because I'll never write again! Now take this poem, it is my last and read it one more time. Now leave this page and don't come back and forget that it was mine! I'm not waving, I'm drowning! |

Well, you can deprive me of any future poems, if that is your desire, but you can't make me forget.....oh, no,no,no....and I can click on this one anytime I want to...hehehe....but seriously, don't give up writing, you are so good at it. I've also found that it is the best outlet for emotional turmoil, at least for me it is. So please reconsider! Denise |

This is the only poem I have read of yours so far. It leaves me wondering what forced this decision. I hope it really isn't your last. But if it is, it's a great one to end with. I must say I do not understand it, nor the emotion behind it, or should I say I have never been where you are...once I found writing could cleanse my soul, I would never give it up....there are times when I am without words...and there are times when my words are inadequate, but it is a gift given to me, to help me cope....and I do say thank you for it....with or without writing....I hope you find your way to cope too...  |

Thanks serenity and Rex Devina...Not just a venting poem, sorry. Im not writing anymore poetry. Reasons yet to be told to anyone! Now Denise, give me a little more credit please...cause as far as depriving you from further poetry, I can also deprive you of this one as well by deleting its contents! Didn't think of that did you? As far as me being 'good' at writing, I have to STRONGLY disagree with you there! Reconsider? Me? Sorry! Thanks Dio & Corazon Rebecca...Gift for writing? NO! Drawing, maybe! PdV...Well, we'll see, but I believe that I can and WILL quit writing! Thanks ACT but it is! I'm not waving, I'm drowning! |

this is the first poem i've ever read of yours..it is good.never giveup writing. i did once and it didn't do any good. my emotions were crammed up inside...keep writing... Tia I'd rather have someone hate me for who i am,than to have someone like me for who i'm pretending to be |
