You know that I loved you, once upon a time. Back when your heart blended with mine. But things changed right before our eyes. Which once again shifted the course of our lives. There was good reason for this to occur. But at the time, I wasn't so sure. I wandered restless, all alone. Until one day, my heart found its way home. Once yesterday's memories faded into gray, And the cobwebs in my mind were swept away. My eyes were opened once again. And I realized this was not the end. Every step along the way, is just a stepping stone. Another chapter in our book, to call our very own. When each lesson learned is said and done, It molds us into what we eventually become. |

Eloise~ I enjoyed the stepping-stones that led to your return. Sometimes the paths take us far away ... and then they lead us home. You artfully placed them on the path. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Thank you for your comments netswan and Marge. I guess we have to trip and fall before we can learn to walk. |

Many trips and many falls and many stepping stones, one step at a time. So nice to see you posting again, Eloise! Denise |
