Memories come flooding back to implant in my brain, and haunt me, as I see you walk into the room. Wanting you to turn around, wanting you to hold me. I see a sad smile, a sweet smile, glittering behind your eyes when you glance my way. Do you think of me? I wish we hadn't started this game, this game that turned deadly to our hearts. This game which left me with pieces of you. Hidden smiles of sadness. Glittering behind eyes. Hesitant to look my way. Poignant melancholy, and bittersweet regret...beautiful in its maudlin ausperity. Keep sending more, and never stop writing. Alicat |
