Blinded Ways Clouded Skies You left me here You took it away Gave me nothing Watched The Tears They fall upon my cheek From redened eyes To starry skies My love for you fell weak Through empty gazes And dreamy phases I put you in my heart In sweet vows And purple owls I came to thee With an open mind And open soul Just hoping for you to make it whole But to my dismay You had treated me this way And Left me nothing but pain I'll never feel the same The way you made me feel Has become so unreal That I feel i cannot live Cos I have nothing left to give Filled me with sadness And enjoyed playing with my heart You were special to me You were something to me Now you're nothing to me *I wrote that last night as the one I loved difted away from me* < !signature--> [This message has been edited by Poet deVine (edited 04-29-2000).] |
