My heart my muse is where it's always been Together with yours since the world's first spin Other hearts have spun through my life it's true But none of them no matter how excting or new Can ever take my heart away from you Your heart and your love have given me the strength to grow And it's going to take my whole life to let that love show Your heart I will always hold close to me with gentle hands Nurturing, loving, caring and giving to it the best that I can Giving you the strength to face your demons and stand Come and take my hand gently loving, tender muse Take my hand and let us paint a picture of our love, full of subtle hues A picture that could stand together with the finest works of art One that the brush of our lives is just beginning to start A portrait that hopefully will end with a picture of our hearts --------------------------------------------------------------------------- That which gives light must endure burning --Victor Frankl |
