How I feel.....
Is it really hard to let it out..

I feel like a wounded bird
That had been shot a couple of times
suddenly it's being nestled in your soothing arms
for a few seconds though
when I live my entire life

then some ferocious energy bursts in you
saying this is not a wounded bird
its a monster that has come to take your life
thrown away and shattered into pieces

do these emotional outbursts have a source ?
why is it such a powerful force ?
don't you see simplicity and honesty
whenever I express my love to you

is it only you that felt the pain by the way I left
can't you see I was pinned down by everyone and can't move freely
Oh! I could've made some effort to show my love
but what if I say it and get rejected
should I carry on that feeling to next destination
I can bear that too
but what if I cause you pain
I can't live at peace after doing that

don't you see my love is so pure
it does not judge whether you're right or wrong, after all why you should be judged, you're so sweet
your sight is always a pure bliss

maybe you think.........
honestly, I don't know what you think

I really enjoyed these lines...it is something I have been thinking about lately in this relationship I am in. I enjoyed reading this poem. James
