And it was the dawning of the sun, The renaissance, Easter, and good I watched presently, attentively Gracing photo chrome as you would be Remembered Gazing longingly with hopeful eyes Into an origin of your beauty So, now, I looked sideward, and forward And wonder-ward, and wayward To perceive the past and conjure… When once these past days Captured forever, I saw your likeness And puddled in it, and became nervous Scared as I was, and could be I was fluttered by your cool beauty And I knew not of what to do, For upon that lengthy gaze, I saw fortune and opportunity And feeling most sincere, and deep I saw cool hands, and warm bodies And black hair and soft skin Yet I couldn’t move Never has such a feeling held me in its grasp For never has one touched me as so And never do I believe one to …Yes, optimistic, and pessimistic, the two, But desire isn’t of the ignored, nor is emotion And so I felt uneasy, and scared of the reaction, yours… Two beautiful eyes, with long lashes, And a soft face, replenished by my sight And a presence one must speak of And tell to the whole of us, “My God! What have I found?” For something is inside of me A thought or more back on past events And the confusion I must have watched For I no more wondered the reaction Just a future, and result for us But still, something tore into me Like some thorn or gnarled woody vine With pricks and cuts into my soul That said with urgency, “Do something!” so I (will) …And as the sun, the beautiful, beautiful sun The memory of you, of your beauty And the banner bearing your name And so it shone bright its rays to me As I watched and graphed onto film In a tone-gray color wheel And it penetrated me and covered me, And lit a way for me, To Divine Illumination, so-to-say… I sat and stood for hours, Waiting for you to come out, and play, and watch over me And carry on your routine But my tiredness crept in, And took me away, But not before I captured you Let me capture you, once more And let me never let you go, And let you want me forever more… ( ?)… el fin --and then he asked for suggestions. Please help. |

inspired by Dante's scheme, yet containing no rhyme. Is that legal? |
