I once had a friend, who left me far too soon He left silently, by only light of the moon We rarely spoke, and away he drifted Once gone, I noticed my interests had shifted No more was I into childish games and toys I started liking death, and that which destroys I had found a new friend, with a hidden intent He silently sowed the seed of discontent I disliked my life and how it had turned out Unable to trust others, all I knew was doubt Far too late I learned of my friends vile way By then my life was in complete disarray I wish now this friend would kindly leave His influence I no longer wish to receive I miss my old friend, the one I called cheer This new friend I am now growing to fear |

Seems we've been keeping the same company. Very well done, Mistikman. Michael |

I've got to agree about the last two lines here... They're really well done. Perhaps you need to make a point of spending more time with that "old" friend, ya think?? Nicely done MM.. |
