Naught But a Thousand FoldThrough the fantasy's counting I've become ancient aged 'pon the millions or more now I've told while my lover's last calling labours long in the night if naught but a thousand fold If naught but a thousand fold If naught but a thousand fold Nary numbers nor honors will follow me home through the gardens in bitter and cold While the lasses and lords languish fully awake when following folly and gold to the tales I am drawn with my wrap pulled about if naught but a thousand fold If naught but a thousand fold, love, If naught but a thousand fold In my tales, I may fancy I lie never alone held, embraced, by both tender and bold And the songs that I sing and the tales that I tell bring me naught but a thousand fold Claire |

Claire~ Just too pretty. You're singing such a lovely tune. I simply love this. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

When a person writes from within, their words, no matter the style, are a fingerprint of their soul. 'Tis a beautiful song that you pen, with your heart's unmistakable imprint. |
