Why Am I, Who I Am? Why am I, who I am? Why can't I be better? I'm a five year old wanting all and more. I'm a teenager confused needing answers. I'm twenty-one or so I wish I was again. I'm me, only me yet who am I lost alone? Where am I when I'm to blind to see? Why am I running, running, running? Away from everything away from me, away from life. I, too, don't seem to have been content with where or what I was/am through the different stages of my life. It is a struggle that perhaps many people deal with in an ongoing basis. I think acceptance of ourselves, as we are, is the key. You've expressed this turmoil well, Gloria. Denise |

such a short word with so many few answers.....often I think we focus on the "why" and don't look at the "just because"...I know I do This is very powerful writing and leaves me pondering once again.....why? Hold me for yesterday Kiss me for tomorrow But love me for today. |

These are question we all ask ourselves often throughout our lives. I have found much peace and contenment just by accepting that I am who I am. ...My words of wisdom for today...LOL. I like the way this was done, thanks! Not all those who wander are lost. ~J.R.R. Tolkien |
