Always There Oh my Lord, my Sovereign God The One with whom the Angel's trod. I thank you Lord for this one day As on my knees I bent to pray. Once again I was weak and down You lifted me from off the ground. It seems no matter what I do You're always there to see me through. You know each tear I've ever cried Each single time my hope has died. Though I slide back and often fall You stand me upright, straight and tall. Your shepherds staff you use with love The rod for what I fall short of. What would I do without your grace? I'd never see your loving face. You always know just what I need And hear me everytime I plead. Where would I be without your care? Alone in darkness and despair. [This message has been edited by WhtDove (edited 04-24-2000).] |
