Is it better to go through a blissful blindness, or to suffer the pain of knowing the truth? There are some things childeren should not know Some things childeren should not see Things they shouldn't have to go through; Things that would make them worry. Don't let them loose their innocence They can still see the world through blind eyes What a gift it must be; Not to realize. There are some things none of us should know Some things we should not see Things none of us deserve to endure; Why did it happen to me? |

sweetchild, what a touching poem - it really struck a chord in me! Please know that you are not alone - there are many survivors, here, and we all try to help one another through. Excellent work - thank you for having the courage to post it! Troy Beautiful, Thought-Provoking Poetry http://www.h-systems.net/p1.htm |
