Night slides its veil over my body, landscape fades to grey, Colour has no place here, Beauty confined to shadows that move like black flames. Close my eyes, time to think, Conscience takes my hand, together we walk the marble corridors of my mind. Pillars of Strength, rustic oak doors, So many closed, too many have been opened. Old dusty tea chests of memories, Cob-webbed love letters, heavy leather bound books on love lost, Archives of pain. Sit and study, pondering, dreaming Images puncture the darkness, Some make it darker, some explode with colour, I watch, I feel, I drown in my history. Time has no counter here, deeper I sink, no reason, no logic, no boundaries, just time for me to think. -Rich- |

 Rich* Welcome "home" first of all secondly this is magnificent, and yes those trips down memory lane take us many places where time seems to stand still within our hearts. p.s. Shane has been home for almost a week and is going to the hospital for a check up tomorrow....prayers that he comes right back home when I talked to him earlier he made sure to tell me his very handsome friend is packed and thank you again for sending a smile. |
