To my sweet, all the things I never said. All those little things, that filled my heart with dread. I was never able to tell you, all the emotions that I felt. All the feelings that I held inside, those with which I had dealt. The longing on those cold nights, to have your arms around me tight. And to see your tender eyes, the ones I love and are my prize. The kiss from your gentle lips, oh, the thing I made myself miss! Your loving caress, ... I swear I tried my best. Those words I could not form, those words I keep with such regret, still linger in my throat simply unable to form, but I don’t fret. I know that somewhere, somewhere deep inside, my heart has met with yours, and they cling together with uttermost pride. |

Okay, I'm fessing up - it's a new name. I couldn't find my old password and such. Even my old name, for that matter! Don't worry - I've just got a few old ones to post. Have fun reading. |

Okay, guys, help me out - this is sad. Two of my replies are from myself!! I need some advice! Good/bad? How is it? I wrote it a long time ago, but I was hoping for some feedback. Thanks if you can help, NorthCaliGirl |

Hi NorthCaliGirl, welcome back to Passions! What I am getting from this is that you have regrets over a relationship that could have been better than it was/is because communication was/is lacking. Sometimes it is very hard to find the right words to say, I know. Sometimes, no matter how hard we try, we blow it. I like how this ended on a positive note with the heart to heart thing! Denise |

I enjoyed reading this...it reminded me of a discussion I was having today with my friend Jesse. We were talking about two women that like me and he said that I wasn't giving very much....such as calling them and spending time with them..and I told him if they truly liked me I would always be in their hearts...as you said "my heart has met with yours". I hadn't seen a friend of mine for almost two years and when we finally spent time together I felt like I had just seen her yesterday...our relationship was exactly where we had left it two years before. Welcome/Welcome back/Hi!!! Whichever you prefer!! Your poem is good and to be honest I picked up the same things as Denise already stated! Love and hugs, Lizzie "Poetry is the true expression of my soul, it is my ultimate means of communication. It is my rainbow of delight." |

Welcome back. Even if the words were never said, sounds as though they were communicated nonetheless. And, I'm a northern cali girl, too. Corinne |
