Sunlight streams in through slats of gray The world awakens to begin another day Slow, soft stirrings begin to fill the room Another day dawned, my arms filled with you Cuddled up together in the middle of the bed The feelings shared are so warm, no words are said Your eyes gaze at me, your hand touches my cheek In that touch I have found the love for which I seek Whispered "I love you's" fill the air Nowhere I'd rather be, than with you there First night, first morning, first love Here with my angel, sent from above -------------------------------------------------------------------- That which gives light must endure burning --Victor Frankl |
