All these faces, flowing like a sea. All these faces, all of them, not me. All these faces, but not the one I wish to see. Flowing like a sea, none of them could be me. The only person that could be me, is me. No one can tell me what I am supposed to be. For the only person that is me, is me. Me, the man who stands out of the sea. I can't be a doctor, a lawyer, a nurse. I can only be me and I am stuck with this curse. I am me and must follow my course. I am me and act upon my source. I am flexible and can be molded like a pot. But I can't be a person, a human-being that I am not. I am Gabe, I am me, a person you sought. Sought by you, cause you thought I was kinda hot. I am an artist, a musician, a poet. I am me and alot of people don't know it. I am a technician, a dreamer, a romantic and show it. I am me and this, my hardest thing to do, must live it. Welcome to passions Gabe~ Always be yourself, it's the only way to feel totaly at ease. Trying to be someone your not always leads to disapointment and anxiety you don't need in your life. Liked what you where saying in this  TC~ Love is the life of the soul... It is the harmony of the universe |

I have been surfing NetPoets.com for about a year but I finally decided to check out the fourms. I will be posting alot over the next couple weeks so look for my poetry! |

Gabe, I'm fairly new here myself, and love a kindred spirit. Your poem really touched me - you took the words right from my heart and turned them into a beautiful poem. Sometimes being true to yourself and who you are is the most difficult thing. I look forward to reading more of yours.
