The First Hello ... The Last Goodbye
~*Marge Tindal*~

The first hello
the last goodbye
Breathed on the feather
of a sigh

~

A sigh of remembering
how sweet it's been
How short the time
from start
to end

~

The first hello
I'll remember
The last goodbye
I could never forget

~

The time in between
the sweetest yet

Marge~

Very sweet my friend.  Reminds us to make the most of whatever time we get inbetween that hello and good-bye.  Wonderful thoughts!!

Marge~
excellent as your work always is.
this one held a very valuable meaning
in it that i take to heart. cherish each
day you have...for you never know when
good-bye is around the corner. and it is
unfortunate, but good-bye is always
inevitable in life. great message you have
written here. take care.

Wow!!!!  It's not fair to pen a poem superior to the one which inspired it.
Putting my injured pride aside, I absolutely loved this!  It's truly an honor to have my name in any way related to it.  "Good-bye" is one of the saddest words there is.

Hon, I thank you.  And yes, you are right.

Narima~
Oh, hon ... goodbye can be painful -
but the time inbetween is worth remembering.
