I detest the crude behavior That I so often find, When people put themselves ahead And leave the rest of us behind. They're at the theatre door at six For a show that starts at eight. They'll spend he night before the game Outside the stadium gate. First to get there, first in line, Pushing forward for first choice, Until I'm tempted to address them In my most sarcastic voice: "Ahead of me again, my, my. Ahead of all these others too. Well, it must be so convenient To have nothing else to do But to dump your lowly carcass At the front of every line, Where, by every rule of merit, The place is rightfully mine." Being civilized, I'm silent. Let the vulgar take their turn In front, where they're protected From the heat of my slow burn. |

~Oh I so agree,...sometimes restraint is hard,...but we must all take your route and try. Try to be civil. Thanks for such an interesting little poem. Gotta love those darn people though,...gosh you know?...everytime. Sheesh. Take care. *Peace. |

I've often heard this pheonomenon doesn't exist in Japan. Corinne |
