Still i cry
seeing what
you have become
without me

Deep in me
I am jealous
Of the sheets
holding you in nights

who are you now
where is the one
my soulmate
who is to love

How did we lose
so deep a well
of love of truth
in our space

What can I do
to try to return
To who we were
Can it really be dead

I still see you
When i close my eyes
when i listen
to the voice of the wind

All we created
in those long night
of passion of realization
is now shattered and gone

Am i lost
in this pit
can't a hold on
to just a little bit

Very nice work. I think you have captured the lonliness very well. I enjoyed the read.

W.P.* You've put tears of understanding in my eyes with this....you have captured heart breaking pain with this piece.

Still i cry
seeing what
you have become
without me

I still see you
When i close my eyes
when i listen
to the voice of the wind

These especially echo my voice, I'm sorry that you too have felt this pain....there is a rainbow somewhere...we just have to find it! Thank you for sharing this.

painfully beautiful walter..
letting go is always the hardest lesson of love we learn...
letting go without regret is the key to setting our hearts free..
but the hardest lesson to learn
tender aching poem my friend
take care,

I think I could need - this in my life
I think I'm just scared - that I know too much
I can't relate and that's a problem
I'm feeling ...
If you're gone - maybe it's time to go home
There's an awful lot of breathing room
But I can hardly move
If you're gone - baby you need to come home
cuz there's a little bit of something me...
In everything in you.
