Who are we? < !signature-->Who are we when we walk into this place? Why do we change while in here? We are unique people, some black, some white, some of totally different races. Some from here, some from different states or countries. Some of us are hourly, some salaried. But, that is no reason to dislike me. Some of us are young, some of us are older. Some are irresponsible or inexperienced, some are too stuffy or lack vision or compassion. But, that is no reason to loathe me. Some of us are men, some of us are women, some choose a different life style. That is no reason to disrespect me. Some of us like to party, while others choose to worship in the religion of our choice. Some have no religion at all. Some of us choose to do neither. That is no reason to exclude me. We all could be someone’s brother or sister, husband or wife, mother or father but we are all someone’s child. And we are all worthy of respect, love, and a chance to prove to you that we can be an important person to you if you remember Who we all are. 'What we are, What we wanna be' nice entry into passions, Rodney. WELCOME and enjoy your stay!!! Regards, sudhir. Hey you, out there in the cold, Getting lonely, getting old, can you feel me? Hey you, standing in the aisle, With itchy feet and fading smile, can you feel me? Hey you, don't help them to bury the light. Don't give in without a fight. Hey you, out there on your own, Sitting naked by the phone, would you touch me? Hey you, with your ear against the wall, Waiting for someone to call out, would you touch me? Hey you, would you help me to carry the stone? Open your heart, I'm coming home.... by Roger Waters (Pink Floyd) - The Wall |
