Crushed Laura M. Wells I gave you my heart and my soul, with you I felt complete and whole You have taken my dreams and crushed them into bits I know this isn't what you want but you have to do this for your own good You don't know what you have done to me how you have crushed me I miss the sheer bliss of your kiss You don't know how many times a day I think of you it was all like a dream to good to be true I thought what I wanted was for you to release me but it is not what I want you see I don't know what I want anymore than you do, I know that in time this game will be through I did not think the finish line would come into view so soon You have my heart and my soul, you said you would never do anything to hurt me Well you have you see I gave you all that I am and now you throw that away because you say you want to protect me…from what? If anything comes out of this please remember only this I love you |
