Trapped inside your Beauty ~First Knight~ No moment of silence I know, Your presence fulfilled its duty. My thoughts no longer my own, I am trapped inside your beauty. Calling of my heart to you, This sound I have heard before. Fifteen years have long since passed, I thought I'd closed this door. Needing you before all else, As you lived there in my dreams. Such a wonder of pure delight I lived for you it seems. Loving you it came with ease, Not a thing I could not do. Except accept the fact of truth, I could not be with you. I left the town where we once lived, A move that saw us part I lost you in the years that came, But not within my heart. Now time has passed and here you are, Past prayers now come to life. I can't believe its really you, And your no one's wife. You mean much more than you did before, I want tell you the truth I loved you then and I love you again, My true love of my youth. No moment of silence I know, Your presence fulfilled its duty. My thoughts no longer my own, I am trapped inside your beauty. A man does not love a woman because she is beautiful...But she is beautiful because he loves her. |

David~ What a beautiful moment. This slice of your life is told with tenderness. Trusting that you are doing well, I care. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

"I lost you in the years that came, But not within my heart." ~ an especially lovely line, this. I enjoyed this piece...it reflects sincere emotion, so well shared throughout these verses. ~ Claire |

My thanks to you all....This came from a memory of a young girl who I knew in high school when I was only 16 and wanted her for all time. A man does not love a woman because she is beautiful...But she is beautiful because he loves her. |

Truly Amazing! I should say this is one of the poems that I relate the most! It felt like you were living my life... "Only in the dreams , is that man can truly be free It was always thus and always thus will be" Prof. Keating Dead Poets Society |
