Your Songs To be the stuff of your songs, Penned so artfully, To lilt in silky crescendos, Wrapped in swelling diphthongs, Each note carrying that flow, That simple style of complexity, Imprinted with a lover’s touch, Reaching so high, then low. To be captured in your tune, Pitch changing, becoming sad, Mourning over some lost love, That ended one life too soon, To dance and twirl with the sounds Voice blending with guitar, Now sensual, enrapt in lust, Driving the beat, it pounds. Paradise, oh music, to be Written between your lines, Forever etched in memory, That of your chosen key. © 2000 Corinne Bailey |

Corinne--To love a poet to love a sound to love the harmony the heart you've found Between the lines that is the place the listening ear fills up with grace. Wonderful Poem, Corinne...I do love the way you write! [This message has been edited by Martie (edited 06-05-2000).] |

Every artist needs a moment of inspiration and to be the artist's subject is a joy to behold.... great attitude reflects through this wondrous poem of your, Corinne... Regards,Sudhir Hey you, out there in the cold, Getting lonely, getting old, can you feel me? Hey you, standing in the aisle, With itchy feet and fading smile, can you feel me? Hey you, don't help them to bury the light. Don't give in without a fight. Hey you, out there on your own, Sitting naked by the phone, would you touch me? Hey you, with your ear against the wall, Waiting for someone to call out, would you touch me? Hey you, would you help me to carry the stone? Open your heart, I'm coming home.... by Roger Waters (Pink Floyd) - The Wall |

Paradise, oh music, to be Written between your lines, Forever etched in memory, That of your chosen key. -------------------- this is perfect C, I love the thoughts behind this, the longing... this is how it feels when the words get under our skin *smile* well expressed with grace, as always thank you for the kind words to my post. ![]() take care, jm I think I could need - this in my life I think I'm just scared - that I know too much I can't relate and that's a problem I'm feeling ... If you're gone - maybe it's time to go home There's an awful lot of breathing room But I can hardly move If you're gone - baby you need to come home cuz there's a little bit of something me... In everything in you. ~MB20~ "What the caterpillar calls the end ... The world calls a butterfly" ~Lao Tze Tao~ ~Butterflies are meant to be free~ |

I'd love to be in your song, enrapt in a lusty pitch. It would be a very sweet song, lilt in silky crescendos, reaching so high and low. Ahhh, I can hear that sweet voice right now...... If I stop this dream I might wake up.... ![]() Sweet poem, from a sweet poet. Parker |

Keep that dusty old doc away from me. I don't need my dreams being analyzed, but I think he likes to do female dreams..... ![]() |

Yes a female head shrinker will do just fine. Some of my dreams go all night long, that requires lots of analyzing, I would think... lol Parker |
