Response to Passions' Poetic Pieces

I am not a proclaimed mathematician
and even in words I sometimes fail
but I cannot help but exclaim at the adulation
I see before me prevail!

For in this hallowed hall of sanctum
and in the light of all revelry
responses average 9.6731101
to every poem set before you and me.

Now, some poetic pieces get more than they deserve
[ping pong poetry comes to mind, you see]
but that our poets are in kind less reserved…
they give praise to good works, to you and me!

So this is Sunshine’s way of thanks
to all of Passions’ fine poets of pen and ink
not only do you give us much food for thought…
why, you even make us think!

SunShine: I'm glad to be a part of this, a small part, but yes, I feel the same way. Thank you

I feel the same way, Sunshine! And...thank you, too!

Elizabeth

And this I say to you: why? Why? Just tell me why, so I can understand. Why?

DearSunshine,
I'm wowed by the statistical proof of our common observation and appreciation for the Passions site.
This is one great place and I personally don't think that we can sing it's praises too much.  For all that we might perceive as it's weakness-- the postives and pluses make them pale into insignificance.  Yes, yes,
Passions IS the best!!!
I'm glad we can sing a duet of praise and appreciation today,   David

my dishes dont get washed,
my laundry dont get done
but I could care less
I'm in Passions having fun

I do so love to read poetry
and to reply to lots of posts
its my way to show my love of verse
its my way to poetically honor and toast

But most of all...
I love the chance to rhyme
and if I come up missing...
you can find me in Passions 99.9% of the time
----
great poem SUN...creative and fun..
yes this place is special

I think I could need - this in my life
I think I'm just scared - that I know too much
I can't relate and that's a problem
I'm feeling ...
If you're gone - maybe it's time to go home
There's an awful lot of breathing room
But I can hardly move
If you're gone - baby you need to come home
cuz there's a little bit of something me...
In everything in you.
