Love is a blazing fire which quickly burns itself out. Nothing is left but memories, ashes, and smoke. Love is an expensive vase set up high on a shelf. It's beautiful to behold, yet fragile and so easily broke. Love is a painting best understood only by the painter. To an observer it is mere color. To the lover it is art. It is an idea, a notion. A concept conjured up by a lonely being. Love invades the soul, conquers the mind, but never touches the heart. Love is a blazing fire which quickly burns itself out. (The embers glow to spring to life again and again) Nothing is left but memories, ashes, and smoke. (Ah, but the memories !) Love is an expensive vase set up high on a shelf. (Tenderly cherished) It's beautiful to behold, yet fragile and so easily broke. (Still, tenderly cherished) Love is a painting best understood only by the painter. (But sooooo enjoyed by those who view it) To an observer it is mere color. To the lover it is art. (Ahhhh! I'm a lover) It is an idea, a notion. A concept conjured up by a lonely being. (Sought by many a lonely being and found by many) Love invades the soul, conquers the mind, but never touches the heart. (It invades my soul, conquers my mind and touches my heart with gentleness) *Thank you for sharing this.
