Mesmirized < !signature-->Amy M Kennedy Looking out into the ocean of deep blue My thoughts gradually turn to you Your sweet face comes to me as the soft clouds pass on by Watching the waves roll in, I let out a deep sigh The seagulls near by, I can hear their cry And I think of you so far away, and I wonder why I can hear the sound of laughter all around me Closing my eyes I try to get you out of my mind...but it's no use...you are all I see In love with you completely, I can't deny how I feel My heart and soul you captured, you softly did steal I know you feel the same, but chains keep us apart Society dictates us not together, though still you have my heart Forever I will search for a way for us to be together And even if we can't be...I still will love you always and forever I am surrounded by paradise, beaches of white But all I feel is sadness in my heart, as my throat closes tight Then a smile comes across my face as I remember the time we had And in an instant I know that our love is right, and I don't feel as sad You were my friend before you were my lover Never have I met someone so wonderful...and never this much will I love another "Don't be dismayed at goodbyes. Amy, This is such a heartfelt poem. If you love someone let them go and if they come back its meant to be.....i know its hard god do i know.....but if it doesn't work, you will always have a friend. Anyhow, i throughly enjoy your poems. PG |

Amy, Beautifully written, my friend. I hope that some day you and your love find a way to be together. It is so hard to let go when it feels so right, but if it is really right....somehow, someway, you will be together. Best wishes to you!!
