Living... Have you ever woken up and suddenly realized that you're well into your life, and you don't even know where you’ve been much less where you are going? And you’re amazed that so much of your life was devoted to getting lost. Loving... Have you loved ferociously and whole-heartedly, but in a liberating fashion? Has love brought you satisfaction, on at least some fronts, or are you now love-shy and daunted? Do lessons that we learn in life determine whether we shine brightly or flicker intermittently? Losing... Have you lost someone that you once felt you could never bear to lose, only to find that the loss made you stronger? Have you faced life alone long enough to know what and who you actually are or are you still undiscovered? Dejavu... Have you ever been in a situation that seems so familiar that you’d swear you’ve already been there and done that? Does the sense of familiarity send shivers down your spine or do you welcome it like an old friend that you knew you’d someday find? |

Nice poem Jana. Yes I lost someone that I thought I couldn't live without...and I didn't want to live without them...but I was able to overcome those overwhelming feelings and I am fine now. James |
