TORN BETWEEN TWO LOVERS LIKE THERE ONLY WAS ONE I KNEW THIS WOULD CATCH UP WITH ME THE FIRST DAY IT HAD BEGUN I HAD TO HAVE THEM BOTH THOUGH REGARDLESS OF WHAT PURPOSE I WOULD DEFEAT I NEEDED TWO HALVES TO MAKE A WHOLE TO MAKE MY LIFE COMPLETE WHAT LACKED IN ONE COULD BE FOUND IN ANOTHER THIS IS WHY I DIDN’T THINK TWICE ABOUT DROPPING ONE OF MY LOVERS ONE TALL, DARK & HANDSOME WITH MONEY TO BLOW THEE OTHER SMART, FUNNY& TALENTED WITH MODESTY LIKE A VIRGO ALL I EVER WANTED IN LIFE COULD NEVER BE FOUND IN A MAN SO I COMBINED THE TWO AND CREATED MR WONDERFUL BUT SCREWED UP A SIMPLE PLAN THE PLAN WAS THAT THESE TWO WOULD NEVER FIND OUT ABOUT EACHOTHER BUT THE WORLD IS SMALL AND I HAD IT ALL TILL ONE SAW ME WITH THEE OTHER |

Perhaps we would all enjoy two if there were not so much conflict that would come with the package....and of course they would each have two and so on. James |

I can relate to your poem. In it you had two halves to make the whole that you desired. This is similar to the poem I posted last night "She & Her" in which I only have one, but dream about the other who fills the void as I sleep. Who knows, maybe some day with the help of a little gene spicing, we could all have the perfect mate??? Best wishes, Poetaster D |
