His words dance and rise with grace upon the page,
beckoning to my heart ... his invitation for desires to engage.
His rhymes enchant me ... their promises to entice and linger,
his verses entwine golden rings of love gently thru my fingers.

I long to see love through his poetic, gifted, eyes,
to share his vision, his dreams, to then see where my future lies.
To know his secrets, to touch the core of his soul's essence,
to be consumed and contented by the grace of his presence.

Just to know the gifts of his passion's pleasures,
to touch, to taste, to discover his sensual treasures.
Should fate grant this chance ... his every fantasy I wish to fulfill,
would my dreams come true as this desire overtakes my will.

By his every word conceived ... I am captivated,
Transfixed on his offerings ... I am fascinated.
Baptize me in the sweet depths of his poetic cascade,
I surrender to the temptations as all my resistance fades.

that have never been touched.
There are places inside our hearts ...
that need to be loved this much.

J. Marie,

Oh, how "passionate"!  I don't think I've seen this side of you, but it is definitely not disappointing.  Everything you write just grabs hold of me girl!  When I logged on this morning I was so happy to see you posted at the very top - right where you belong!

I love it! Those poetic men sure can turn on the charm can't they (Balladeer included). Perhaps poetic men are more in touch with feelings and that makes us want to surrender to their poetic charms.

A CLASSIC!!!!

The poet must be a real lucky one to have such a feeling developed in another heart...

Great work, Janet...

Regards, sudhir

Hey you, out there in the cold,
Getting lonely, getting old, can you feel me?
Hey you, standing in the aisle,
With itchy feet and fading smile, can you feel me?
Hey you, don't help them to bury the light.
Don't give in without a fight.
Hey you, out there on your own,
Sitting naked by the phone, would you touch me?
Hey you, with your ear against the wall,
Waiting for someone to call out, would you touch me?
Hey you, would you help me to carry the stone?
Open your heart, I'm coming home....
