-- Helpless Empathy -- (4-20-2000) I see the tears rolling down your face My love, tell me what's going on? If it's not something I have done Then why is my touch so wrong? Something you heard on the street? Did they say I'm seeing someone new? You say it's nothing to do with me It's something to do with you Trying so hard to open up to me Something's killing you inside Sitting in silence, just to be And then finally you confide . . . I see what time it is here, still up?(smile) and smiling even more cause ya stayed up to write.(poets do that ya know)*L* I wish to ditto what Claire said... beautiful and sensitive... something I see in you more and more... must be all the sweet tea  love this one, jm Well the sun sets gently on your shoulders And it makes me want to touch you there. And the light in your eyes makes me feel Like there's something much better out there Something kind... And I know someday I might be looking around Trying to find some purpose Well purpose it can't be that hard to find As long as I've got the wind... Well... poets and people who stayed out too late and didn't wake up until 7pm.. yeah.. they do that. =) Thank you both for the compliments. It's not much on the subject of child abuse by the time I cut out the parts I didn't want to share with the world... but that's about the best I think I can manage for now.
