a little life for each of us but never quite enough a little taste of happiness,a touch a kiss then pick up the mess and start over finding another cause shes too young or hes too old my father says or my mother scolds the wisdom they preach, god must always be..within reach but we're in love, like you used to be and your rules destroyed our dreams your frigid logic..will always keep us lonely hating you..why take this from us who are you..to say im not good enough? "you can have my isolation..you can have the hate that it brings you can have my absence of faith..you can have my everything" "so impressed with all you do..tried so hard to be like you..flew too high and burnt the wing..lost my faith in everything" "I am too connected to you to Slip away, to fade away. Days away I still feel you Touching me, changing me, And considerately killing me." The Jackal |

Well written sir. there is a lot of frustration in side and this poem lets it out real well. i can feel the imagery. i can almost hear your parents... and they sound a lot like mine. keep up the good work. i dig it. and i dig you signatures, too. very snazzy. We all got somethin' we need to atone for. |
