LeavetakingGoodbye is seldom word enough, but we say it, hoping to part closer in heart than when we met. I say farewell with fondness, with satisfaction that we have shared a love of words, of sound and syllable of art and expression... of faith. A gentle wind touched on my soul, ...soft whisper from afar, Fairer than most beauteous rose, ...than Venus, evening's star. Sweet flower of the heavens, ...outshines the welkin's light, With voice of golden nightingale, ...she sings of sorrow's bite. Though ne'er we've met, nor ever will, ...now rests within my heart, Lustre of midsummer's moon, ...time now has come to part.
