Sure it shines diamond-like, upon your long and lovely finger, but the gold is flaking on your skin, and that green will surely linger. You apply makeup carefully, a mask of porcelain beauty, but if you crack a genuine smile, it will fall away completely. Most people will not see you, unless the angle is just right, like in peripheral vision, the angle is wide, not tight. Like an ever-changing hologram, now and then the viewer will see, a momentary flash of horror, a she-demon in a sci-fi movie. I marvel at how you use men, when your bloated ego needs a fix, if they won’t take your smelly bait, you lay even greater tricks. I really liked this....it is so real to life and so easy to understand... I think we have all seen this kind of person at sometime in our lives. A man does not love a woman because she is beautiful...But she is beautiful because he loves her. |

OUCH!!!! Come on Corinne...dont sugar coat your words.. say what ya really feel. LOL excellent poem...read like a stinging slap in the face. remind me never to make Corinne mad  take care, jm Well the sun sets gently on your shoulders And it makes me want to touch you there.
