I'm pressing the blade against my bruised heart
I sit here, alone, crying the burning tears of my dark fate
My eyes sting from all the hurt, all my fear
I have been wounded and will not recover
Your false hugs and words do not mske up for the searing pain that you created
My life is laying before me, scattered and broken on the floor
I cannot hear the smiles or hear the laughs,
But I can feel the pain and taste the lies
The next time you see me I will be free
Free from this hurt that you created
Will you even be sorry when you see what you did?
What you ruined?
Who you broke?

Yes, it was you that broke ME.....

But I can feel the pain and taste the lies
The next time you see me I will be free
Free from this hurt that you created

Oh Bunny, this poem is so impactful in each verse.
A heart sometimes gets stabbed by such pain yet in time it heals and embraces love once again

I have to agree with everyone else, it was a powerful poem. I am sorry for your pain but you have the right idea
"The next time you see me I will be free
Free from this hurt that you created."

a great poem,  I especially loved the line

"I'm pressing the blade against my bruised heart
I sit here, alone, crying the burning tears of my dark fate"
