per request of Jeffrey Carter....

LIFE'S UNRELENTING QUESTIONS

Life's unrelenting questions
That recur as time's imposed
Are really inconclusive.
There's no answer predisposed

There often aren't solutions
To our quests as they are posed;
They seem instead elusive
Rather cryptic'ly reposed

We dwell amidst confusions
Often errors we've supposed
We're frequently delusive
With assumptions we've composed.

Our life-long resolutions
Never just as we've proposed -
One thing that seems conclusive
Is they're naught to be exposed...

Nan~
Wow, lady !
Words of wisdom go down easy this morning.
Enjoyed the perspective immensely.

Does that mean we can't have our cake and eat it too......j/k.....hehehe   Now this is one that I could understand without an unabridged dictionary!! Which, by the way, I may be able to purchase today while I am in Center City (taking yet another test for a possible job). This is great, Nan!

Wow...the confusion of the poem kinda relates to the topic, true? Very nice however and truely of wisdom.

A fantastic poem, and well said, often we share for the answers without really knowing what the questions are. wonderful poem, each verse is a gem of wisdom.

LIFE'S UNRELENTING QUESTIONS

That recur as time's imposed
Are really inconclusive.
There's no answer predisposed

There often aren't solutions
To our quests as they are posed;
They seem instead elusive

With assumptions we've composed.

Our life-long resolutions
Never just as we've proposed -
One thing that seems conclusive
Is they're naught to be exposed...

Yeh, Nan. You took the thoughts right out of my head. Only trouble is, I could never write them down the way you do.
Lovely poem
