With the passage of time Comes the deepening of love Like the darkening day In the setting of the sun Changing shades of colored sky All fading to blackest night Holding steady, all feelings the same Constantly avoiding the light But she, in my arms remains As the blissful sleep enfolds me I trust my soul to her So in the morning I might see And behold all that I am With an opening of her waking eyes After a night like this I wonder, Will the sun ever rise? |

With the passage of time Comes the deepening of love Like the darkening day In the setting of the sun Changing shades of colored sky --------------- But she, in my arms remains As the blissful sleep enfolds me I trust my soul to her So in the morning I might see And behold all that I am With an opening of her waking eyes After a night like this I wonder, Will the sun ever rise? --------------- *SIGH*(contented sigh) *S* once again...your timing is impeccable and you know I love this one...and you know why, thank you for this today... and to answer your poems question... yes... the sun rises and sets around moments like this, beautiful poem jer, written with you tender and gentle poets heart... perfect imagery in this as well, stalking you in contentment, your jm Well the sun sets gently on your shoulders And it makes me want to touch you there. And the light in your eyes makes me feel Like there's something much better out there Something kind... And I know someday I might be looking around Trying to find some purpose Well purpose it can't be that hard to find As long as I've got the wind... The wind and your love to carry me. vertical horizon |

This is a beautiful description of true love. It touched me very deeply. Great job. "We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars." -Oscar Wilde |
